The Story Village is an excellent place for your discreet business functions, corporate retreats and seminars. Since we also offer overnight accommodations, your meetings may carry on for several days, an excellent opportunity to focus on the business at hand while sliding into the daily rhythm of laid-back life at Story. We can help you gain perspective, so that you may return to the office energized and focused.

    Story is less than two hours from Indianapolis, Cincinnati and Louisville.  But since it is in the heart of the largest contiguous forested area in Indiana, Story feels a lot more remote than it actually is.  We view this to be an asset.  We are a historic 19th century village with no telephones, clocks, radios or televisions in any of our rooms.  We can offer you an excellent latte or pinot noir, but no chance to clean out spam from your inbox.  If you want to get business done, this is the place, a chance to focus on business at hand, without interruptions.  Lose the tie, put on comfortable pants and sandals, and get to work!     

    The Story Village includes several buildings and rooms which are suitable for private business meetings of up to 50 people.  Start the day with a buffet breakfast on the porch, move to the Old Mill for intensive meetings, retire to the pub downstairs for some serious bonding with co-workers. 

    If you are more conventional, try a round of golf.  The Salt Creek Country Club has an excellent 18 hole course, just 10 miles away.     

    We offer a light menu, coffee, tea, homemade pastries and soft drinks to our business clients while they are meeting.  We also cater private parties and can provide private dining or special menu items to our business clients.
