The Story Inn will be providing free shuttle service between the Wine Fair and the Nashville Courthouse, 1-8 p.m., departing each location every 30 minutes (approximately). Don't drink and drive! Turtle Run Winery Grape Inspirations is owned by Ron and Joyce Shoff of Carmel. They began making wine in the early 90s from fruit that grew in their backyard. Over the years their skill and knowledge grew, allowing them to win several medals in wine competitions. They have continued their winning ways, winning 17 medals in their first two years. "We opened this business to share our passion with all of Central Indiana." Winzerwald Winery (German for “vintner of the forest”) is owned by Dan and Donna Adams, and is located on 85 acres of rolling lands in the Hoosier National Forest along Interstate 64 in Perry County. The winery celebrates Dan and Donna’s German heritage and the Swiss and German heritage of the area by offering unique German and Swiss style wines, gifts, festivals, educational tours and fun. Early German settlers believed the Hoosier National Forest reminded them of the Black Forest and the Ohio River was as beautiful as the Rhine River. French Lick Winery The Thomas Family Winery Harley and Bettye Kauffman first planted grapes on their 200-acre southern Indiana farm in 1974. Throughout the years the Kauffman’s have supplied a number of Indiana vintners with quality wine grapes. In 1987 the couple started their own winery and sold their award winning wines throughout the Evansville area. Today the Kauffman’s still run their small farm winery in Posey County and in the fall of 2002 opened a new winery tasting room at the vineyard. The public is welcome to visit and enjoy the estate-bottled wines that are made from one of Indiana’s oldest vineyards. The winery is located just 10 minutes west of Evansville and a half hour drive from Historic New Harmony, Indiana. Located in the southeast corner of Indianapolis , on I-74, within a mile of Acton Road (Exit 99) and Pleasant View(Exit101). We offer 4 acres of vineyard on 12 ½ acres of farm land. Jeff and Kelly Durm planted the first grape vines in 1991. Over the years the vineyard was developed and the winery opened in April 2006. The charming lake resort community of Monticello, Indiana, is where you will find Whyte Horse Winery. With a tasting room set in a renovated 1886 farmhouse decorated with elegant wood and antiques and a modern processing and banquet facility, Whyte Horse is the result of vision and a passion for fine wines. New Day Meadery offers a distinctive selection of limited edition, small-batch meads created from the finest fresh fruit and raw honey Indiana has to offer. Located in Bedford Indiana, Carousel Winery is one of Indiana's newest vintners. The winery opened in August 2003. Carousel opened with eight wine varieties including grape-based wines and fruit wines. The carousel theme is present on the winery’s labels; each wine is represented by a different carousel character. Butler Winery, established in 1983, is the fourth oldest operating winery in Indiana. The winery and vineyard are located just 10 minutes from the NE side of Bloomington. Our philosophy has always been to use Indiana-grown grapes in the belief that wine is a reflection of the climate, the soil, and the people who grow the grapes. Sample some of the 22 styles of grape and fruit wines. Light lunches are available at the winery. The 550-acre Huber family farm, located 20 miles northwest of Louisville, is also only 125 miles from Indianapolis, Evansville, and Cincinnati. Other farm attractions: farm market, bakery, cheese factory, petting zoo, loft gift shop and u-cut Christmas trees. Day after, Sunday, April 27: "Hoosier Cuisine Gone Wild!" Black tie optional dinner featuring the Gold Medalists in six categories each matched to authentically Hoosier cuisine. $100 per plate, proceeds to benefit Brown County Citizens Scholarships. Call Dave Hennessy, (812) 988-4610.

John and Kim Doty offer free tasting of 18 grape and fruit wines, from the driest, a Chardonnay, to the sweetest, an award winning cherry. Tour the 3,000 square foot wine cellar. Enjoy specialty coffees and teas for a different palate sensation. Shop for yourself or for your friends. Mingle over coffee or wine like the early century celebrities did. Beechwood Mansion also houses a restaurant and bed & breakfast. The grand hotel is just down the street.

Brown County Winery, established in 1985, is located in the scenic hills of southern Indiana. With two locations in Nashville, Brown County Winery mirrors the strong arts and crafts community of this scenic Southern Indiana shoppers' mecca. Dave and Cynthia Schrodt opened their retail shop behind the Nashville House restaurant in 1986. In 2000, they opened a new winery and tasting room just outside of town. Enjoy free wine sampling of grape wines, and their specialty, fruit wines. Wine-related gifts are sold at both locations. Watch the wines being made through a large glass window in the winery tasting room.
Madison Vineyards' 37 acres, located five miles north of the Ohio River, are ideally situated for grape growing. With their first plantings in 1995 Steve and Sandy Palmer began phase one of their grape growing plan. In a few years they intend to produce 100 percent estate wines. They currently produce white, red and blush wines in dry and off-dry styles.
Located in the quaint, old-town area of Carmel Indiana, Ferrin's Fruit Winery opened soon after the dawn of the new millennium. David and MaryAnn Ferrin offer a selection of exquisite fruit wines. These delightful beverages are the result of careful experimentation with various recipes over the past decade. Sharing their creations with friends and neighbors produced glorious compliments and a multitude of requests for more wine! Now, the hobby is a vocation.
Just 40 minutes from Cincinnati, Chateau Pomije's 50-acre vineyard cascades over Southeastern Indiana's rolling hills. The winery and restaurant occupy a renovated 1891 barn featuring a 7,000 stone fireplace located in the main dining room. Diners can overlook the vineyards or a three-acre lake through expansive windows. Dinner reservations are suggested and call about special wine events. Small fee for sampling a half-dozen wines. Banquet facilities for up to 250 guests.
