Lieber Room

A cozy room above the old General Store, in the center of town. This room is named after Col. Richard H. Lieber, who founded the Brown County State Park. The town of Story shares a common boundary with the Park, and the Lieber Room's private balcony (pictured) looks down over the Sommergarten and faces the Park. The Lieber Room has a queen-sized bed, private bath with shower, and a private sitting room.

Addenda:
The price above is exclusive of taxes and based upon double occupancy. There is a charge of $15.00 for each additional person, not to exceed the maximum occupancy of the room, as noted. Children ten and under who do not need bedding are free.

Check-in is anytime after 3:00 p.m., and check-out by 11:00 a.m., unless you make other arrangements with us.

We do not permit pets in the Lieber room.

If you intend to enjoy breakfast with us, you may purchase a “Bed & Breakfast Package” at $9/person, which will enable you to order any food and beverage from the regular breakfast menu (except for alcoholic beverages). You may order the “Bed & Breakfast Package” by calling (800) 881-1183, or requesting it at the time you check in.
