Doc Story's House [First Floor]

This historic cottage is in the house constructed by Dr. George Story, who obtained the original land patent in 1851 from President Millard Fillmore to found the town that still bears his name.  Dr. Story was a medical doctor, whose examination room still stands across the road.  This was the original "great house" of Story, and sits on a bluff above the town, a short walk from the General Store.   The first floor is a comfortable cottage with a queen-sized bed ion a private bedroom, a living room, full bath with shower, and a porch with a swing.  There is an extra bedroom available with two double beds (pictured immediately below), perfect if you are traveling with children.  We allow pets in this cottage for an additional charge.  $118.25.
