Please note: Our accommodations do NOT include internet, televisions, alarm clocks or phones as we are a distraction-free destination. However, we do offer our guests a WIFI connection while in our dining room and tavern. Please keep in mind that we are about 15 minutes away from the town of Nashville and your cell phone service may not be that great. You are welcome to use our phones at the Front Desk!
If you would like to use your gift certificate to make a room reservation, we recommend that you make your reservation over the phone at 812-988-2273. If you are booking on a Monday, please call us in advance at 812-988-2273 to let us know you will be coming.

Lieber Room
Located above the general store, and named after “Colonel” Richard Lieber, Indiana’s first director of the Department of Conservation. Includes a queen bed, private sitting room, a bathroom with a standing shower, and a private balcony. *Please note, this room is located right above the Tavern and you may hear noise late into the evening. Wheeler Homestead Front
This renovated one-room school house is named after the original owner of the general store, Alra Wheeler. This historic room includes a queen bed, mini-fridge, coffee-maker, a bathroom with a standing shower, and a sitting room. Pet-friendly. Premium: $204 Peak: $184 Non-Peak: $124 PLUS TAX

Wheeler Homestead Back
This renovated one-room school house is named after the original owner of the general store, Alra Wheeler. The two-room cottage includes one queen bed in each private bedroom, living room with a love seat, a mini fridge, coffee-maker, microwave, bathroom with a claw foot tub and standing shower, and a private deck. Premium: $224 Peak: $204 Non-Peak: $134 PLUS TAX

Wilkerson Homestead Front
Named after one of the families that once lived in Story, this room includes a queen bed, living room with sleeper sofa, refrigerator, coffee-maker, microwave, a bathroom with a combined tub and shower, and a private porch. Can connect to the Wilkerson Back. Premium: $224 Peak: $204 Non-Peak: $134 PLUS TAX

Treaty House
Once used as Story’s saw mill, the cottage was renovated into a overnight accommodation in the 1980’s. This private cottage includes a queen bed, coffee-maker, mini-fridge, bathroom with a combined tub and shower, a jetted outdoor hot tub, and a private porch. The Old Mill Loft
The Old Mill Loft was once a grain mill in Story’s hay day. The historic and spacious loft includes a king bed, mini-fridge, coffee-maker, microwave, bathroom with a standing shower, a 300 gallon horse trough bath tub, and a small sitting area. *Please note, this room is located right next to the Tavern and you may hear noise late into the evening. Doc Story House
This cottage was once the home of Dr. George Story and was renovated into an overnight accommodation in 2011. The historic cottage includes private parking, a full bed, breakfast nook, bathroom with a claw foot tub, coffee maker, and a covered porch. Premium: $204 Peak: $184 Non-Peak: $124 PLUS TAX
