    The Hammer and The Hatchet

    John Bowyer and Jayme Hood are born and raised Hoosiers who make their home in South Central Indiana on the Brown/Monroe county line. Together, as The Hammer and The Hatchet, they have written three albums of original Midwestern Roots Music and have been refining their songwriting and musical partnership for over 5 years.
    With the 2020 release of Road May Flood, Bowyer and Hood deliver another installment of well-crafted songs with powerful vocal harmonies and Bowyer’s signature combination of fingerstyle and bluegrass picking. You can catch The Hammer and The Hatchet live at festivals, venues and clubs all around the region.

    Lou Stant and Curt Moore have been performing original music in Brown County and the surrounding area since the ‘90s. They’ve performed solo, and in various ensembles, having originally met when Curt joined Lou’s Trio, ‘The Mizfits’ in 2012. Together Lou and Curt perform mostly their own original music with some covers thrown in by the likes of one of their idols, Hank Williams. Their style could be characterized as country, with folk, blues, and rockabilly influences.

    Indiana’s vintners will descend upon the little town of Story, Indiana to dole out one-ounce pours of their finest Rieslings, malbecs, and cabernets to an appreciative audience. Admission into the event area will be limited to persons at least 21 years of age (sorry, no babies!). Tickets will be pre-sale only!

    All attendees will receive a Story Inn keepsake wine glass!

    Zion Crossroads performs regularly across central and southern Indiana as well as along the Front Range of Colorado. Having opened for groups like the Wailers, Toots and the Maytalls, Burning Spear, Here Come the Mummies, and Robert Bradley’s Blackwater Surprise among others they are known for their high energy Americana blend they call Dreadneck Music. Think Blues, Bluegrass, Rock, Folk some Reggae with a psychedelic twist and you’ll be right at home wether it’s an original song by the band leader Travers Marks or a different take on a cover you have heard many times.

    Jessie Marcum Phelps

    Born and raised in Indiana, Jessie has had a passion for music all her life. Starting on the piano writing songs, then becoming a percussionist and branching out into other instruments, she has grown up performing with various musicians and in an array of genres. Jessie currently resides in Indianapolis and has played in many projects while living there. Jessie and Amy (Indie Rock), The Clams (Rock), Ghosts of Kin (Rock&Soul), and currently Moxxie (Alternative Rock) are most notable. Jessie performs as a solo musician and vocalist as well as collaborating with other musicians in the city.
