Story supports local original singer songwriters!! Live music is performed Saturdays & Sundays from 2-5pm 

Join us Saturday June 27 for the monthly comedy show!

Gates open at 8pm.  Show starts at 8:30.

Tickets are $20 at the gate.  Overnight guests receive admission for free; inclusive overnight dining packages start at $250.

Celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founding of our nation with this year's Community Concert and Fireworks Fundraiser!

Yard games are spread through the lawn for guests to compete in cornhole, croquet, and life-size Connect-4.  Participate in the interactive tour by posting pictures from three points of interest and receive a Story Inn keepsake magnet, redeemable at the Inn.

Ruben Guthrie sets the patio stage at noon on Saturday with Brownie's Brisket on special at the grill.  

The Community Concert is scheduled on the barn stage starting at 3pm featuring the return of headliner King Bee and the Stingers in the evening!  Aaron, with his budget cut in half,  somehow manages what's consistently described as, "the best show in the county".    

Bring your family, friends, and pets to this all age event:  Admission is free!  

Details are still being finalized to include Brown County Artist vendors with parade for Travis the cat.

Last year, $3,972 was raised from the dinner sales, cash donations, and gift certificate sales.  This donation amount qualified for a double match from the Lilly Foundation which brought the total fundraising effort to $11,916 for the Brown County Community Foundation.  

May the fundraising tradition continue, this year for the Southern Brown County Volunteer Fire Department!

Vintage Baseball is scheduled to return August 22.  Bring the family and enjoy America's Favorite Past Time at Indiana's oldest bed & breakfast!

Three 5-inning games with 1864, 1869, and 1886 rules

Admission is free!  

Food and concessions available for purchase.  

Games start at 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm ending around 4:30pm.  

During prohibition, moonshine was bootlegged out of Story such that Sheriff Clarence Moore captured the notorious still on site.  As the story goes, half of the 'evidence' went missing.  Story still celebrates the fermentation process by hosting public events.

Enjoy local craft bourbon, live music & entertainment, with arts, crafts, and food vendors Saturday October 24, 2026.  

Leave the children at home for this age 21+ event.

Enjoy the 23nd annual Indiana Wine Fair Saturday May 29, 2027 from noon-6pm!
